especially helpful for athletes who expose their muscles to daily, intensive
conditioning. Deep tissue massage will noticeably loosen muscles, elevate
pain, and increase mobility , all significant benefits for an athlete. However,
you don’t have to be an athlete to enjoy the benefits of deep tissue massage.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of
many different sizes to key points on the body, giving a deeper massage and
creating sensations of comfort and warmth. Using Swedish techniques while
using warm basalt stones the heat relaxes muscles and allows the client to
completely relax. This helps every cell in the body receive more oxygen and
nutrients, and help waste material be removed more effectively through the
corresponding increase in lymph flow.
